Managing Director, Maharail
Shri Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal is the Managing Director of Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (MRIDC / MahaRail). An alumnus of IIT Roorkee (Civil Engineering) and IIT Delhi, he joined the civil services as a Group-A officer and has spearheaded high-impact transport and mega-infrastructure initiatives across the country.
Under his dynamic leadership, MahaRail has set a new benchmark in fast-track infrastructure delivery, blending engineering precision with world-class design, elegant lighting, and uncompromised quality. MRIDC has already delivered 56 key construction projects across Maharashtra, with hundreds more currently in the pipeline. Mr. Jaiswal is driving the core mission of "MAKING MAHARASHTRA RAIL FATAK FREE STATE" and "BRIDGING THE ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE GAPS ACROSS RAILWAY LINES." To realize this, MRIDC is systematically eliminating dangerous level crossings and urban bottlenecks by constructing state-of-the-art Road Over Bridges (ROBs), Road Under Bridges (RUBs), flyovers, and iconic Cable-Stayed Bridges throughout the Maharashtra state and key industrial corridors.
A thought leader in high-speed track design, Mr. Jaiswal authored the landmark book "Vision of High Speed Rail Corridors in India" establishing a technical framework for broad-gauge network integration. His innovative approach to cost-effective, aesthetic, and fully integrated transit infrastructure stands as a key benchmark for the "Make in India" initiative and a major step toward an "Atmanirbhar Bharat."
