HOW TO APPLY RTI?

How to file RTI Application with MAHARASHTRA RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED.

Any citizen of India who desires to obtain any information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Act) may make a request to the RTI cell, Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, 2nd floor, Hoechest House, NCPA Road, Nariman Point, Mumbai 400021.

Application fee: In accordance to directive given in the Gazette notification issued by Dept. Of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, Govt. of India, vide No. 34012/8(s)/2005-Estt.(B) dated 16.09.2005, the application for obtaining information under sub-section (1) of Section 6 must be accompanied by prescribed application fee. At present the application fees at Rs. 10/-.

Mode of payment: By cash against proper receipt or by Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque / Postal order drawn in favour of Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. Persons who belong to BPL category are not required to pay any fee provided necessary documents are submitted in support of their claim.

Additional fee: In case additional fees are required, the applicant will be informed about the same, RTI fee of Rs.10/- can be submitted by cash, through Indian Postal Order (IPO) or through Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, 2nd floor, Hoechst House, NCPA Road, Nariman Point, Mumbai 400021.

The fee (in cash / IPO / DD) can only be submitted at the office of the Public Information Officer (PIO), Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, 2nd floor, Hoechst House, NCPA Road, Nariman Point, Mumbai 400021.

One can personally deposit the fee (in cash / IPO / DD) at the office of PIO or alternatively he / she may have sent IPO or DD by post to following address.
