New line proposed to be starts from Pune Rly. Station and will connect Nasik Rly. Station.
5 Proposed to construct DOUBLE LINE, as there is immense potential of diverting of road passengers (buses, cars) to rail and diverting of many existing trains to this shorter route.
6 Land acquisition :
1250 hectare (For double line) (It includes 250 hectare for Station Area development)
7 Construction Cost :
Rs.4100 Crs.
(for length of 214 Km single line from Talegaon to Nasik, as proposed by Rly.).
Or
Rs.5300 Crs. 
(For 248 Single line from Pune Rly. Station to Nasik Rly. Station, without Rolling Stock)
Or
Rs.6700 Crs. 
(For 248 km. DOUBLE LINE for a speed of 200 kmph. without Rolling Stock). 
Plus
Rs. 800 Crs.
(For Broad Guage rolling stock for 200 kmph high speed passenger train).

Without monetisation of station area land development.

With monetisation of station area land development, solar energy generation, reduction in travel time, carbon credit etc. 
Considering Economic benefits such as : Saving in travel time, saving in vehicle cost, reduction in pollution, job creation, reduction in road accident, saving in greenhouse gas emissions, land value benefit and qualitative benefits.
